- Start the week with an advanced crafts program for children ages 7 and up on Monday, Feb. 1. Class begins at 4 p.m. Registration is required.
- Family Game Night will be held on Monday, Feb. 1 at 6:30 p.m.
- Library Playdate, a time for free play for children ages 2-5, will be held on Tuesday, Feb. 2 at 10:30 p.m.
- The weekly Traditional Tuesday Storytime will feature stories and rhymes designed specifically for ages 3-5 on Feb. 2.
- The weekly Mother Goose for walkers up to two years old will be held at 9:30 and 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, Feb. 4. This language enrichment program uses rhymes, songs and stories to stimulate listening, learning, speaking and reading skills. Mother Goose for Walkers is limited to the first 20 appropriately aged children.
- Needlemania!, a crochet club for children in grades 3 and up will meet at 4 p.m. on Feb. 4. Children have an opportunity to learn the basics or show off their existing skills while meeting new friends. Registration is required at the library website.
- Celebrate the Chinese New Year, the year of the Red Monkey, with origami and paper cutting at the Scarsdale Public Library on Saturday, Feb. 6. Julie Tang teaches children 5 and up the Japanese art of paper folding at 11 a.m.
